Everyone has a story to tell. Everyone can learn from one another's stories. That simple, but powerful message is at the heart of "Torat Chayeinu: Our Stories, Our Journey" - the 5771 theme of Beth Emet - The Free Synagogue
Through a variety of activities and programs -- including this blog -- we will provide opportunities for individual members - from the young to the young at heart - to exchange personal stories of spiritual growth and fortify our journey as a congregation.
Here are just some of the ways Beth Emet community members can participate:
Craft a tale in our memoir-writing workshop. Log your spiritual journey through our Beth Emet blog. Connect a personal story with a biblical one through our D'vrei Torah series. Capture moments with our video story corps. Taste a memory in our recipe exchange.
Prepare to dance, sing, draw, and nosh -- and to learn, cry, hug, and laugh.
